Pre-Qualifications

Must have pistol experience

Must know, understand and demonstrate safe gun handling skills
Required Equipment:

Must legally possess own firearm
-
Long pants with sturdy belt (BDU's or regular pants)

Closed-toed shoes
-
Outside the waistband holster
-
Magazine holster
-
Minimum of 3-magazines
-
250-300 rounds of ammunition

Hat for brass ricochet

Sack Lunch / Snacks / Favorite Drink (a cooler w/water will be provided)

Morning Dry-Fire / Live-Fire:
-
Utilizing plastic demonstrator guns, you will learn proper draw technique, firearm handling and firearm retention.
-
Continue dry-work using your own unloaded firearm for proper magazine placement, proper loading and unloading of firearm.

You will run a series of live-fire drills to re-enforce the principals covered earlier in dry-work.

Utilizing your "work-space" for proper presentation of your firearm on the target to develop the principals of moving while shooting.
Afternoon Dry-Fire / Live-Fire:
-
Utilizing plastic demonstrator guns, you will learn how to effectively transition from "fire-control-side" to "support-side".

You will run a series of live-fire drills from both standing and sitting positions sharpening your skills to work with both left and right-hand effectively.
