learn and apply techniques for CONGREGATIonal defense in a close quarters situation.

Pre-Qualifications

  • Must have pistol experience

  • Must know, understand and demonstrate safe gun handling skills

Required Equipment:

  • Must legally possess own firearm

  • Long pants with sturdy belt (BDU's or regular pants)

  • Closed-toed shoes

  • Outside the waistband holster

  • Magazine holster

  • Minimum of 3-magazines

  • 250-300 rounds of ammunition

  • Hat for brass ricochet

  • Sack Lunch / Snacks / Favorite Drink (a cooler w/water will be provided)

 

 

Additional Items: (not required)

  • Dump Pouch

  • Sun Screen

Morning Dry-Fire / Live-Fire:

  • Utilizing plastic demonstrator guns, you will learn proper draw technique, firearm handling and firearm retention. 

  • Continue dry-work using your own unloaded firearm for proper magazine placement, proper loading and unloading of firearm.

  • You will run series of live-fire drills to re-enforce the principals covered earlier in dry-work.

  • Utilizing your "work-space" for proper presentation of your firearm on the target to develop the principals of moving while shooting.

Afternoon Dry-Fire / Live-Fire: 

  • Utilizing plastic demonstrator guns, you will learn how to effectively transition from "fire-control-side" to "support-side". 

  • You will run a series of live-fire drills from both standing and sitting positions sharpening your skills to work with both left and right-hand effectively.
