Nevada CCW For Church Protectors
This course incorporates Biblical Principles for church guardianship to justify watching over the flock. Whether serving in a ministry or not, whether you are looking to obtain a concealed carry permit (initial or renewal), or you are attending to hear the Nevada Revised Statutes as a refresher course for current conceal carry permit holders, OR you are looking for information to make a more logical decision to carry concealed for personal protection; the "NV CCW For Church Protectors Course" is for you. Along side the Nevada laws, we include scripture references and basic techniques to show how to protect your house of worship while providing an atmosphere which offers comfort, refuge, worship and learning.
This course is designed specifically for houses of worship; Pastors, Elders, Deacons, staff, greeters, ushers, security servants, parking attendants, ministry leaders, those in ministry of any kind, including those sitting in the congregation (sanctuary saint). This is a very informative and educational experience that Robison Tactical - Faith Family Firearms has created for all church protectors. Safe firearm handling is every gun owner's responsibility. With or without a concealed carry permit you still need to know the State laws.

CCW Initial and Renewal
Zero Tolerance Policy: Safety is priority. Safety is in every single movement that is made with a firearm.
A student will be removed from the range during the pistol qualification course who is irresponsible with their firearm and
puts others in danger. Instructors and Range Safety Officer's (RSO) instruction and range commands must be followed.
This is not a beginners class.
This course is for those who are familiar, comfortable and confident with the firearm and know sight alignment and sight picture and
are now ready to begin building upon the foundation of their skill development. Applying for a concealed carry weapon permit is for
those who are ready for the next step.
IT IS THE LAW
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) share our passion for safe firearm handling. It is a State requirement
that every concealed carry applicant must know and demonstrate safe gun handling during the pistol qualification course.
NRS 202.3657 "... Except as otherwise provided in this section, the sheriff shall issue a permit to any person who is qualified to possess a handgun under state and federal law, who submits an application in accordance with the provisions of this section and who: (a) is 21 years of age or older; (b) is not prohibited from possessing a firearm pursuant to NRS 202.360; and (c) demonstrates competence with handguns by presenting a certificate or other documentation to the sheriff which shows that the applicant: (1) successfully completed a course in firearm safety approved by a sheriff in this State; or (2) successfully completed a course in firearm safety offered by a federal, state or local law enforcement agency, community college, university or national organization that certifies instructors in firearm safety..."
For Initial and Renewals Course Includes:
Nevada Law, concealed carry permit application, proficiency test (renewals are exempt), state and
LVMPD approved pistol qualification target (B27), range fee and course completion certificate.

This course is also designed to provide information to you in order for you to make a more logical decision to purchase a firearm and to carry concealed (hidden) for personal protection, or to protect your loved ones r the life of another. The "NV CCW For Church Protectors Course" is for you. You will sit in the same class as first time applicant and conceal carry renewals acquiring the same information so that you can understand the application process, to help you understand the Biblical principals justifying personal protection and protection of the flock. Included are the Nevada Revised Statutes and many scripture references and basic techniques and demonstrations to show how your house of worship is protecting you while providing an atmosphere which offers comfort, refuge, worship and learning.

NV CCW FOR CHURCH PROTECTORS COURSE offers 3 categories. Choose the category that suits you.
1 - Initial or Renewal
2 - CCW Refresher - No CCW application is necessary and no pistol qualification is required. However, you may shoot the qualification course. This is offered with a biblical stance and is intended for individuals who currently hold a Nevada CCW permit. Not only are you staying up to date on Nevada State Law and topics pertaining to carrying concealed, it also incorporates biblical justification for protecting the flock and the responsibilities within, as well as statistical data which shows growing trends and need for houses of worship to have a safety and security plan in place

3 - Sanctuary Saints - This is a great class for those who acknowledge the need for more information to make a more logical determination whether or not to own a firearm for personal protection. The information provided will help in making a wiser decision. Proverbs 18:15 - “The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge, And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.” NKJV - Permit application, proficiency test or pistol qualification is not required. This is a classroom setting.

MORE ABOUT NEVADA CCW
American's enjoy the right that people of many other countries do not, and that is the right to own firearms legally. With this right comes great responsibility. By obtaining a CCW Nevada permit, you can carry a concealed firearm in 30 states. This class is thorough with valuable information and exceeds the minimum standards mandated by law for the permit application process. It is an 8 hour required course through the State of Nevada. Concealed Firearm Permits are valid for a period of 5 years and can be renewed for additional 5 year periods. Course includes; syllabus, proficiency test, permit application, target for pistol qualification and course certificate. You will walk away from this course empowered as a safer and more responsible firearm carrying citizen.
This course is taught by qualified instructors with outstanding qualifications. The material covered will include; law, responsibilities, ethical considerations, firearms training and qualification as mandated by law. This course is a Metropolitan Police Department requirement and does not guarantee a CCW permit, as it is depends upon background investigations.
REQUIREMENTS PER NEVADA STATE:
Any person who meets the following criteria may apply for a concealed firearm permit:
Nevada resident of Clark County.
Former, Retired and Current Military (Medically Discharged with appropriate documentation).
An out-of-state resident who received firearms training in Clark County.
21 years of age or older.
Ability to understand and demonstrate the responsibility of safe firearm ownership.
Must be able to lawfully possess a firearm.
Must have the personal confidence to carry concealed in public.
Successfully complete a firearms safety course in Nevada (2 hours: $75.00 + applicable range fee).
Pays Nevada State and METRO appropriate fee.
