Intro To Tactical pistol package

intro to tactical pistol package includes 2 days learning and applying techniques for personal defense in a close quarters situation.

Both days are 5 hours each and are scheduled consecutively.

TACTICAL TRAINING OFFERED to every law-abiding citizen who has the right to defend him/herself, a loved-one, or the life of another, and who owns a firearm legally, and who desires to learn strategic movements applying the Center Axis Re-Lock platform used in close quarters and for those who want to improve on GUN SAFETY.

DAY 1 GOAL

Train people in the safe and proper method of advanced firearms handling and to learn new skills while improving on existing shooting skills.

DAY 1: Range Application Level 1

This 5 hour course is the beginning to tactical shooting and will build your skills with the fundamentals of the Center Axis Re-Lock (C.A.R.), a gun fighting system built around your body alarm response. Utilizing the CA.R. platform enables you to move quicker and respond to a threat with accuracy under stress and duress when the sympathetic nervous system over runs the body. Student must not be new to firearms. Student must have basic handgun skills and knowledge, have taken a gun safety course, must know his/her firearm, what sight alignment is and how to use it. Student must have own equipment such as: outside the waist band gun holster, double magazine holster and sturdy belt worn with pants (bdu) that has belt loops.

GUN SAFETY STANDARDS remain the highest priority while working on these techniques.

The "Firearm Fundamentals and Gun Safety" class is a suggested course, but not required. However, student must know their own firearm and understand Gun Safety Standards. We do honor other certificates showing you have had prior safe firearm handling instruction.

LEVEL 2 GOAL

Train people in the safe and proper method of advanced firearms handling and to learn new skills while improving on existing shooting skills.

DAY 2: Range Application Level 2

This class builds from Level 1 improving and adding more intermediate skills. Weapons retention techniques, Tueller drill, supine defensive drill, firearm transitioning and how to react immediately to mechanical difficulties with your firearm in a safe and expedient manner. The student is generally surprised to see how well they can shoot with their non-dominant hand.

GUN SAFETY STANDARDS remain the highest priority while working on these techniques.

As part of the course curriculum, an urban conflict drill (U.C.D.) will be the last stage of live fire that the student will engage in. During this stage all the elements of safety and the skills that were learned will all come into play.

Every evolution in Level 2 is built from Level 1 training. If the student is unable to be focused and teachable the student will make safe the firearm and choose to stay and work with a demonstrator gun until the Instructor and student agree that the student can return to the live fire course.
