The help that is given by an immediate responder can often make the difference between life and death, even before professional rescuers arrive. With dedication to consistent training the correct way, YOU can help save lives. YOU are your first responder.

This course will introduce the basic skills necessary to manage life-threatening trauma. In addition to Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, the training will emphasize self-care and care under fire. Students will be familiarized with the contents of common  trauma kit and practice with a variety of commercial and improvised pressure bandages, tourniquets and hemostatic agents.

CPR, AED

(adult, pediatric and infant)

Airway Management

   Scene Safety and Injury Assessment 

      Control Life-Threatening Bleeding 

   How To Apply A Tourniquet(s)

   Hemostatic agents (Quikclot, Celox, etc.)

   Identifying and Managing Chest Wounds
